Populations

From the families, living in the beginning of the 18th   century, we can find data in the first nationwide census after the Turk, in the census of  the taxpayers of the year of 1715.  In the censuses we can find the following, having the name of Nehéz, in nationwide range:

In the village of Bátorkeszi (Vojnice)
Joannes jr.,  Joannes Sr. and Andreas Nehéz .  The members of the family were inhabitants of the village still in the 19th   century.
In the village of Almás  lived
Joannes Nehéz. The members of the family here also were inhabitants of the village in the 19th century.

There is an
Andreas Nehez in Debrecen. The members of the family are inhabitants of the town still in the 21st century.

In the settlement of BOLDOG there are
Georgius and Paulus Nehéz Their descendants do not live here at the end of the century.

In the town of Veszprém lived Joannes Nehéz, who can not be found in the census of the year of 1720.

In the settlement of Técs
ő (Tyacsiv /Teceu Mare) there is Nehéz Mihály. No Nehéz lived there already at the end of century.

In KENÉZL
Ő There is Michael Nehéz In the census of the year of  1773. Likely he is a descendant of that Nehéz family, who lived in Tokaj, two century earlier . István and András who were born in Kenézlő, at the end  of 18th   century, could have  migrate from the village, because no trace of them later. The family lived in Kenéző only in female brunch, at
the end of the 19th century

From the 18th century on the territory of Hungary have appeared
Nehéz families by population, typically on the areas, what were depopulated after the Turk.

In the 19th century, the families and the descendants could be traced through registers of birts.

Besides the above surviving families, moved by population and migration Greek Catholic  and Calvinist
Nehéz families into the county of Szatmár, Roman Catholic  into the counties of Békés, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok and Borsod. We do not know any Lutheran Nehéz families.

Whereas we can find such members in almost every generation of families, who have not died in his place of birth,  presumable those families, who appeared later scatteredly in the country, are the descendants of these ones.

Being not intended to be comprehensive, we try to present The descent of some families,  according their  place of residence. We had possibility to process the registers of births until 1895. Where we could find the descendants till  nowadays, we present them.

 Fragments of family trees

Though the populate of Endrőd there happened in more wave, from 1718 till 1769,

the first note, related to member of a
Nehéz family,  there is only in the register of deaths of the year of  1774. The died child was 2 years old, and has not born in Endrőd.

For this, it is likely, that their migration there happened in the years of 1773-74.  Whereas the migrations there happened mainly from the neighborhood of Rimaszombat of Felvidék, we have looked their censuses, but no Nehéz family was there. So, their origin must be looked for anywhere else.

The Nehéz families, who have migrated into Endréd, were
Roman Catholic, poor cottars, with, or without house.

The relations between the first Nehez families (
Mathias, Joannes, Josephus, Anna, Catharina, Elisabetha, Maria) are not known. Later, the families gave birth many children, and buried too.

Those Nehezs, who lived in Endréd. make up three bigger family brunches, and five less fragments.

CSALÁDFA I, the brunch of Mathias.

Though, the fortune of the tree boys (Josephus and two Stephanus), who have born in The 19th century, is not known, at the end of the19th century István, at the beginning of the 20th century Lajos carried the name further.

CSALÁDFA II, the brunch of Joannes.
This brunch also had male members, who have born in the first half of the  19th century, and the fortune of them are not known (
Michael, Paulus, Stephanus, Josephus, Mathias).

At the and of The 19th century four male member carried the name further (
József, Lajos, János, Mihály). Those, living in Endrőd nowadays, or their descendants have to look for their forefathers in them.

CSALÁDFA III,  the brunch of Imre.

This brunch commences with the marriage of  Imre in the year of 1842, and could be traced until nowadays.
At the end of the19th century
Stephanus and Mihály carried the name further.
In the year of 1907, two bother
Imre (1870-1939) and Stephanus (1880-) emigrated to America. Imre has returned Nowadays we know only the names of Gábor  and János from those, who carried the name further.

On the emigration lists of the beginning of the19th century, there are seven person with the name of Nehéz from Endr
őd, four adult and tree children.

Family tree  fragment nr.1, brunch of Josephus.

This brunch on male brunch is extinct already at the end of the18th century.
Family tree 2 - fragment nr.5,
the first settlers are given by the brunches of Anna, Catharina, Elisabetha, Maria

As long as the family relations of the settlers were cleared up, probably, they could be connected into either brunch.

In the county, in Bátorkeszi, (today Vojnice) and in Mots (today Moč) villages lived calvinist Nehéz family. We know  About 140 members of them. They make up one big family tree and six smaller fragments of family trees. From family 5 person in the18th century, and 9 person in the19th century have not died in their place of residence, so they have leaved the village. More fragments survived in female brunch. Two members of the family lived in the village, at the end of the19th century, who carried the name further: Franciscus  (1877-), Andreas (1887-).
In the village of Dunaalmás also Calvinist family lived. One part of the family moved and diffused in Révkomárom, but they save the memory of origin from Almás, and a lot of interesting stories of the family, still in the 21st century. The memories are saved by Nehéz György.
